We follow two Codes of Conduct – SWEP’s own and Dover’s – that all employees are trained on. The following values, expressed as basic beliefs, remind us how to act and think daily at work.

People are SWEP’s greatest asset, and we are committed to keeping everybody healthy and safe. A key goal is a total recordable incident rate below 0.76 by 2025. Every employee receives safety training, and every site with 30 or more has a dedicated safety committee. We maintain clear procedures for reporting potential risks and actively encourage everyone to speak up about any safety concerns.
All SWEP employees – regardless of role or level – has an individual development plan. You will be encouraged to take initiative in your growth and will receive the tools you need. We use a 70:20:10 learning framework – 70% learning by doing, 20% though interaction and 10% via formal training. Programs include Global Business, Sustainable Mindset and various leadership training within SWEP and Dover. To maintain talent, we recruit internally when possible. 64.4% of placements 2024 were internal promotions.
We take pride in knowledgeable and mindful managers throughout our organization. In addition to recruiting the right talent, SWEP and Dover offer extensive training to develop skills, confidence, ability to engage and business acumen. 96% of our first-time managers have for instance taken part in our value-based leadership program.
A multifaceted and just culture is vital for our continued success. Our social key goal is to reach an 85 % score on the Diversity & Inclusion Index in our employee engagement survey by 2030. Our voluntary retention rate is over 90 % and the average tenure is approximately ten years, even longer among managers. The share of women in non-production managerial roles continues to grow. 55% of our executive leadership team is female.
