SWEP's recruitment process

The following steps will guide you through our recruitment process. Each one outlines what to do, what to prepare and what to expect along the way. We look forward to hearing from you!

1. Apply

Explore our job portal (all open positions are listed there) and follow us on LinkedIn to stay in the loop. Found something interesting? Prepare your CV and finalize your application and submit it to our job portal. You will receive an email confirmation once has been received. Note: Sometimes we recruit on a rolling basis so do not wait to apply!

2. Selection

Our hiring manager and recruiter review all applications and invite selected candidates for interviews. We value diversity and strive to build inclusive teams.

3. Interviews

Time to get to know each other better. You will meet the manager for the position and an HR representative – and sometimes the manager’s manager and other team members – and learn more about the role, team and SWEP. Do not hesitate to ask any questions whatsoever. We also want to hear more about your skills, previous experiences and personal traits. You may be invited back for more interviews.

4. Tests/references

We sometimes use testing. Your recruiter will provide the details. References or recommendation letters may also be requested, depending on local practices.

5. Offer

Congratulations! If we are the right match, you will present an offer and agree on the employment terms. In conjunction with this, based on location, you may be asked to complete a drug screen, background check or medical check.

6. Welcome!

You and your manager will agree where and when to meet on the first day. You will receive an introduction plan to ensure the best conditions for a smooth and enjoyable start. Our Buddy Program means a colleague will help you navigate, network and learn about the SWEP culture.
