Carbon-neutral process heat

Rather than producing heat, heat pumps extract and upgrade ambient energy, including from outdoor or indoor air, soil, or surface or groundwater. Industrial processes that require temperatures under 120 °C can be fully electrified using current heat pump technology and can be made carbon-neutral depending on the source of electricity. 

Future-focused technology

So far, the food, beverage, and tobacco industries account for the greatest uptake of heat pumps, with more industries expected to join the trend as the price of natural gas continues to rise. In the near future, the industry will have commercially available technology that can manage up to 150°C. SWEP will be there – with innovative solutions and new technologies that make the most of every system.
