2025

SWEP introduces the option of brazed plate heat exchangers built with CO2-reduced steel – raising the bar for sustainable manufacturing

Our Chinese plant is relocated and expanded to meet growing Asian market demand.

New headquarters open in Landskrona along with SWEP TechGarden – the home of our innovative R&D engineers.

2022

SWEP FI22AS is the first product launched to meet the increasing demand for converting to natural refrigerants. All in the best interest of our planet.

2021

SWEP Hypertwain® technology is launched, manifesting our contribution to a better world. Delivering two heat exchangers in one, reduces the use of scarce resources.

With the support from Dover, SWEP starts global investments to expand and automate our manufacturing sites over the next few years.

2018

Safe tap water solutions become even safer with the launch of SWEP Sealix® plate protection concept.

2014

Our All-stainless range is launched, enabling use of the energy-efficient brazed plates heat exchanger technology in more corrosive customer applications.

Success in Americas takes our operation from our first assembly plant to a full manufacturing site in Tulsa, Oklahoma, bringing us even closer to customers.

2012

More records! The biggest and smallest brazed plate heat exchangers are launched: SWEP B649 and SWEP B3 – manifesting SWEP’s capacity to innovate at every scale.

2010

New innovation to further minimize material usage – SWEP AsyMatrix™ plate design, confirming the potent sustainability profile of brazed plate heat exchangers.

2006-2007

Our manufacturing capacity expands with two new plants: in Kosice, Slovakia and Suzhou, China – delivering on our promise to produce close to our customers.

1996

SWEP expands its business operations to the Americas, marking the start of growth beyond Europe over the next two decades.

1994

Dover acquires SWEP. This brings new capabilities, boosts SWEP commitment to heat transfer where less means more – and creates new opportunities to expand to new markets.

1993

SWEP B65, the world’s largest brazed plate heat exchanger at the time, is launched.

1986-1988

Market success enables multiple investments in production capacity, leading to the opening of the Landskrona plant.

1983

SWEP is founded in Landskrona by three Swedish engineers convinced of the supreme qualities that brazed plate exchangers offer. SWEP B10 is launched for heat pumps and refrigerators – creating strong market interest with it's efficient performance per kg material.
